What We Learned Sponsoring Create With 2026 in Brighton

AI and no-code tools are rapidly changing who gets to build software. On June 25, 2026, Create With brought non-technical builders, creators, and founders together in Brighton, UK—and Momen was there as a Bronze Sponsor, exhibitor, and featured speaker.

Create With is a UK community and conference for people building apps, AI agents, and software products without a traditional coding background. The single-day event packed in talks, hands-on workshops, live demos, networking, and an afterparty—all aimed at helping more people ship useful software and real businesses.

We came to Brighton with one message: builders deserve production-grade architecture, not fragile prototypes.

Who Showed Up

The takeaway resonated: by separating business logic from the UI, builders can move from fragile, AI-generated prototypes to scalable applications they actually control.

"If You Remember Nothing Else, Remember ACID"

Momen founder Yaokai Jiang closed the event on the panel "The opportunities for non-technical builders in 2026," tackling the hidden technical debt that "vibe coders" accumulate when they rely on raw AI prompts alone.

Asked how non-technical builders should navigate today's AI landscape, he gave an architect-first answer:

"The 'spray and pray' approach works brilliantly for a weekend project. But if you want to build something you can keep, iterate on, and scale into a real business, you need architectural control—and control comes from structural understanding.

If you remember nothing else, remember ACID guarantees. The database is the heart of your application. There's no magic under the hood—only data structures and consistency guarantees.

That said, business users shouldn't have to become database engineers just to ship. We don't ask developers to rebuild communication libraries from scratch, so why ask it of non-technical builders? The job of a modern platform is to absorb that infrastructure complexity—permissions, data scaling, relational best practices—so builders can focus on their business problem."

He closed with practical advice on the new careers and durable businesses now within reach for non-technical founders.

The "Doom Loop" Came Up Again and Again

The most valuable part of Create With was the conversations. One theme came up again and again: builders are frustrated with simple "vibe-coding" tools. They get stuck in a "doom loop"—fixing one AI-generated feature breaks another, leaving an opaque, unmaintainable codebase. Attendees in Brighton wanted scalable tools that give them real, granular control over the backend.
