Led by Momen’s founder, Yaokai Jiang, the workshop walked attendees through building a complete online course platform—from backend to frontend, monetization, and AI agents—in just two hours.
Each participant received $100 in Momen credits and built a real, deployable app using a guided template. The session was high-energy and hands-on, covering the full product development lifecycle:
Designing database structures for users, courses, authors, and categories
Creating a responsive frontend UI with conditional views
Setting up user authentication and access control
Integrating Stripe payments (sandbox mode)
Deploying an AI-powered Q&A agent using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Configuring real-time updates via live database queries
Using custom React components and code blocks for advanced flexibility
Most attendees were digital nomads with backgrounds in UI or product design. While they were comfortable with tools like Figma or Webflow, Momen’s backend logic builder and AI features were a game-changer—allowing them to build truly scalable, monetizable apps on their own.
One attendee from Houston shared plans to rebuild a group-buy eCommerce app using Momen.
