This November, Momen spent several days in Helsinki — meeting founders at Slush (Nov 19–20), running workshops at Helsinki Think Company in Viikki (Nov 21) and Hive Helsinki (Nov 21), and talking with dozens of makers exploring how AI and no-code can speed up product development.
From the packed expo halls to small builder sessions, one theme appeared again and again: founders want speed, clarity, and control — without needing a full engineering team.
That’s exactly what we came to show.
Slush’s intensity was obvious the moment we arrived. Founders were pitching in every corner, jumping between meetings, and editing decks on the floor between events.
This was Momen’s first time exhibiting at Slush — and the energy matched perfectly with what we’re building. At the booth, the Momen team showed how you can take a rough prototype and turn it into a real, production-ready app, especially when paired with AI coding tools like Lovable and Cursor.
To demonstrate this, Yaokai built a full “investor-connection mini app” live in front of visitors — complete with database, workflow, logic, and UI flow — in just minutes.
After Slush, the conversations continued — but this time in the places where Helsinki actually builds its talent.
Hive Helsinki, the city’s free, peer-learning coding school, was the perfect place for a deeper technical dive into a question many builders now have:
What exactly is agentic AI — and how do you build a full-stack agentic app?
In this session, Yaokai guided 40+ participants through:
how modern LLMs differ from traditional software patterns
mental models for agents that plan, act, and use tools
structuring data, logic, and workflows visually with Momen
a full build-from-scratch demo using Cursor + Momen
Laptops opened. Cursor windows launched. Participants built along step-by-step. The takeaway was clear: agents aren’t magic — they’re architecture. And Momen makes that architecture visible.
Also on Nov 21, Momen hosted a beginner-friendly workshop at Helsinki Think Company, the University of Helsinki’s entrepreneurship hub.
This audience included non-technical founders, students, and operators — many of whom shared the same challenge: AI tools like Lovable and Cursor produce amazing prototypes, but how do you turn those prototypes into real, reliable apps?
Over two hours, Yaokai covered:
why AI-generated prototypes often break as they scale
how Momen adds backend logic, workflows, APIs, and data layers
how founders can keep control without debugging code
He also built a live demo using a participant’s real idea: a funeral-service app. The session quickly turned into a discussion about product strategy and building without full-stack engineering.
Momen provided $100 credits for every participant to keep experimenting.
Across Slush, Hive, and Think Company, we heard the same pain points:
AI coding tools generate code, but prototypes break quickly
founders don’t want to depend entirely on engineers
backend logic is still the hardest part
teams want more control — and less complexity
And the conclusion was consistent:
No matter which AI coding or no-code tool you start with, you now have a faster way to build.
Whether someone begins with Lovable, Cursor, or Momen, the goal is the same: help non-technical founders and small teams build real, scalable apps — not just prototypes.
From the buzzing floors of Slush to hands-on sessions at Think Company and Hive Helsinki, one thing is obvious:
People want to build — they just need the right tools.
Momen is here for that: full-stack, no-code, AI-powered, and designed for founders who want to move fast without losing control.
Helsinki, thanks for the energy.
We’ll be back soon.
